This paper provides a comprehensive review of the ethical implications surrounding the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into the music industry. It addresses the consequential drawbacks of AI use by highlighting the concerns regarding ownership rights that arise through its replicating ability, perpetuated by the lack of set standards. The literature review also examines the emerging possibilities that accompany the increased use of the technology, meanwhile, also analyzing its dilemmas regarding artist’s control and originality. The paper concludes by emphasizing the importance of setting universal standards to mitigate the ethical challenges posed by artificial intelligence in music production, balancing its potential benefits with ethical considerations.
